SOCIAL SECURITY RULINGS:


From time to time, the Social Security Administration issues Social Security Rulings to explain what Social Security’s policy is in various situations. These rulings are binding on the Social Security Administration. That is, Social Security’s own decision makers and administrative law judges are required to decide claims in the manner described in the rulings.
